Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Amber Frazier is a graduate of PennWest (formerly Edinboro University). She graduated with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. She also went on to achieve her Master's Degree in Education. Recently, she completed a program that made her a STEM endorsed educator in the state of PA through Wilkes University.

Throughout her over ten years of experience in education, she has grown to express a passion in STEM education and has pioneered initiatives in the districts she has worked in. Currently, Mrs. Frazier teaches K-6 grades at Maplewood Elementary School out of the Makerspace Lab. She also facilitates the Aquaponics Lab, the Lending Library, and the PA Career Readiness Profile requirements within the building.

The purpose of this website is to inform the community of the incredible STEM projects and initiatives occurring at Maplewood Elementary School. The students will be presenting their projects, blogging about "what is growing on" in our Ponics Lab, and there will be opportunities for community/business collaboration in hopes to provide our students with the most authentic career-ready experiences.
